Since graduating from Kingston University with a first-class honours degree in illustration Gary Wing has been working as a freelance illustrator, receiving commissions from many top publishers, design companies, advertising agencies, magazines and newspapers within the UK and abroad.

“I have travelled to New York, California, Paris, Berlin, Stuttgart and Amsterdam to produce reportage illustrations for various publications including The Architects Journal and Blueprint magazine. For a number of years, I was a regular in-house illustrator for The Economist magazine. I have also taken on illustration work for a number of charities. More recently I have been taking on private portrait commissions as well as pet and house portraits,” says Gary.

His work first caught our eye on the business networking website LinkedIn.

Mark Roberts, Creative Director at Good Life Industries (publishers of Oxford Life magazine) said, “Gary is a truly talented and versatile illustrator. His work is vibrant, witty and always on brief.”
